Living AA’s Twelve Traditions

Please join Waverley Into Action on Founders Day 2023 to learn how to use the traditions in our day-to-day lives. The traditions can improve our relationships with others and help us lead happy, joyous and free lives. There will be speakers from around Sydney to share their experience with the traditions, and you can ask questions to further your understanding of the traditions too.

Tentative Program

Please arrive between 9 and 9:30 so that we can kick-off at 9:30, and the day will conclude by 4.

  • Traditions 1 – 3
  • Morning Tea (11 – 11:15)
  • Traditions 4 – 6
  • Lunch (12:15 – 1:15)
  • Traditions 7 – 9
  • Afternoon Tea (2:15 – 2:30)
  • Traditions 10 – 12
  • Thank You

Any additional funds that we do not use to cover the cost of the event will be donated back to AA.

Food and Drink

We will have a morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and will serve coffee, tea and water.

Please bring your coffee or water cup if your can.

Parking and Transit Options

The Location is in Sherbrooke Hall in Double Bay, not at our regular meeting location.

Parking – There is a public parking garage nearby
Bus – Multiple buses drop off at the corner
Ferry – The Double Bay Ferry stop is 600m away
Train – Edgecliff station is 1.2 km away
