SUMMARY:Ever heard of Roberts Rules and how they are used in AA?
DESCRIPTION:What Robert’s Rules are\nRobert’s Rules of Order is a structured system for running meetings—motions\, seconds\, debate\, voting\, and majority rule. It’s designed for efficiency\, clarity\, and fairness in decision-making. \nIn a typical Robert’s Rules meeting: \n\nSomeone makes a motion\nAnother seconds it\nDiscussion is controlled\nA vote is taken (usually majority wins)\n\nWhere Robert’s Rules do show up in AA\nAA doesn’t reject Robert’s Rules outright—it uses them lightly and selectively\, mainly in: \n✔️ Area Assemblies / Conferences\n\nFormal agendas\nMotions and voting\nTime limits for speakers\nChairperson control
