Having leadership experience enables a member to deal with AA affairs with grace and a minimum of friction. Good leaders can bring to the board the quality of resoluteness and courage of their convictions, along with good judgment, objectively and willingness to stand up and express themselves. How have you demonstrated these leadership qualities in your AA service work or elsewhere?

General Service Trustees are selected for their service experience and familiarity with AA principles as well as their business or professional experience. While business or professional experience is not necessary for all alcoholic Trustees, it is essential for General Service Trustees, who deal with the business affairs of the Fellowship. Please describe the business / professional and service experience you would bring to this role

Commitment*

This position represents a 4 years commitment. The Board meets a few times per year face to face, including at Conference and by web conference as needed. There are also Board Committees and Working Groups that meet throughout the year. General Service Trustees must also meet monthly with the General Service Office Staff at management group meetings. These responsibilities all require a commitment of time and effort. Do you have the time and capacity to meet this commitment?
