What do you understand to be the role of the World Service Delegate? What do think you could bring to that role and how would the fellowship benefit?

Service experience*

World Service Delegates are selected for their service experience and familiarity with AA principles. Please describe you AA service experience.

Leadership*

Having leadership experience enables a member to deal with AA affairs with grace and a minimum of friction. Good leaders can bring to the board the quality of resoluteness and courage of their convictions, along with good judgment, objectively and willingness to stand up and express themselves. How have you demonstrated these leadership qualities in your AA service work or elsewhere?

Commitment*

This position represents a 4 years commitment. In addittion to attending the biennial World Service meeting and and the Asia Oceana meetings, Delegates are expected to prepare written reports in advance of these meetings. World Service Delegates attend Board meetings where they are expected to report back on their activities. They also attend Conference. The Board meets a few times per year face to face, including at Conference and by web conference as needed. There are also Board Committees and Working Groups that meet throughout the year. Do you have the time and capacity to meet this commitment?
