What’s Happening in AA
Dear Fellowship,
We’re pleased to share with you the October 2025 edition of AA Around Australia — our quarterly newsletter designed to keep members informed, inspired, and connected.
This edition of AA Around Australia arrives at a moment of quiet progress for our Fellowship.
In recent months, we’ve seen the launch of the new aa.org.au website, continued expansion of online service through ChatNow, and a national Membership Survey that paints a rich picture of who we are today — a Fellowship of experience, connection, and growth.
These developments reflect the same spirit that has guided AA since its beginning — steady progress through shared service and cooperation.
Stay Connected
Each improvement helps us stay connected and ready to reach the still-suffering alcoholic wherever they are.
As we move toward Conference 2025, members across Australia are coming together once again to share their group consciences and shape the future of AA. From digital projects to local celebrations of AA’s 80th year, every story in this issue reminds us that our unity and purpose remain unchanged — to carry the message of recovery to anyone, anywhere, who seeks it. We hope this edition brings you closer to the heartbeat of AA in Australia — a Fellowship built on shared service, lived experience, and the simple act of one member helping another.
