Founders Day Appeal – Beyond Our Borders

Help Those In Asia-Oceania

Dear Fellowship Member,

Each year, around Founders Day on 10 June, AA groups across Australia join in a special tradition: the Brown Paper Bag Appeal. This once-a-year collection is our opportunity to express gratitude for the gift of recovery and to extend a helping hand beyond our borders.

AA began with the simple act of one alcoholic helping another. Years later, AA in Australia was born when the message reached “Down Under” from New York.

Continue The Legacy

Today, through this appeal, we continue that legacy by supporting developing AA communities across the Asia-Oceania Zone—where the need is great and resources are few.

Last year, our Fellowship raised nearly $10,000. This year, with just $1 from every member, we could exceed $20,000.
