Is your group thinking of going cashless?

Facing Facts

As society moves further away from using cash, many AA groups are beginning to face practical questions about how to continue upholding the Seventh Tradition of being fully self-supporting.

Some groups are finding this transition straightforward, while others are navigating new challenges. Banking arrangements can vary, and some products require an ABN while others do not.

Keeping It Simple

The Board Secretary, Cheryl P., has shared a helpful document titled 7th Tradition in a Cashless Society – Suggested guide to opening Bank Account.

It’s a practical resource that may assist groups thinking about how they handle contributions in a changing environment. As always, groups will find their own way, and many will have experience to share.

Our thanks to Cheryl, along with other members of the General Service Board and GSO staff, for their continued service to the Fellowship.

Members are welcome to share something from their experience — a story, reflection, announcement, or question.
